Welcome to my pad. I thought you might like to see where I chill and sleep. They call these types of rooms that are attached to the side of the house ‘servants quarters’. But I really don’t care what they are called! It’s my space and my pad to escape too. We moved to this new house in March and before this house, for the year-and-a-bit of living in Kenya, I used to share my living space with the volunteers. The ever changing bedroom train station of volunteers. So its good to have my own place for…breathing, living and chilling. It has a small kitchen sink, shelf and bathroom too. The poster on the wall, Keep Calm and Carry On is one of my absolute favorite quotes, as its quite suited to me!
